Following
are the objectives of the organization through which NFAVH intends to achieve
its vision, mission and goal for creating an environment with equal
opportunity, participation, inclusion and anti-discrimination dignity of people
with disabilities.
To
develop the Persons With Disabilities(PWDs) as self reliant citizens of the
state through creation of their equal
opportunity and participation with
dignity and honor in the development activities and render all out assistance
in the building-up of their equal rights and socio economic rehabilitation.
To
render cooperation to the neglected, illiterate Persons With Disabilities
irrespective of their casts, creed and colour by exhibiting their dormant,
creative talents through education and
training and enabling them to build up as dignified & self reliant citizens
in the society
To
render all-out cooperation and encouragement to the Government for the persons
with disabilities for their general
education, vocational training, rehabilitation, prevention of disability and
creation of jobs as well as preparation of policy and legislation in regards to
disability.
To
make arrangement on approval of the proper authority to grant
scholarships, adequate supply of books, provision of suggestions and provide
all out cooperation for improvement of education of the disabled students of
High Schools, Colleges, Universities and in higher Educational Institutions.
To
establish centers for education, training, research and rehabilitation for the
disabled persons on approval of the proper authority.
To
establish Braille Printing Press, Library, Talking Studio and Braille
Development Board for the purpose of promotion of Bangla Braille System on approval of proper authority.
To
establish Industrial Home, Vocational Training Centre, Workshop, to prepare
a list of the educated and trained persons with
disabilities and to form an Employment Bureau for their livelihood and
establish a Hostel for the Employees with disabilities on approval of proper
authorities.
To
establish rural farming training centre, adult disabled hostel, schools for
children and students hostel adjacent to the schools for the girls on approval
of proper authorities.
NFAVH
would received property / asset in the form of cash money, materials, movable
and immoveable articles including all types of assistance from government,
nongovernment, national and international organizations and philanthropic
persons in the interest of persons with disabilities.
With
the aim of total development of persons with disabilities, all types of
dissemination, propaganda, programs, will be conducted to clearly display the
skills and ability of parsons with disabilities before all the members of the
community.
To
take all types of steps to prevent and control disability.
To
arrange tour programs, sports and games, amusement, music and all types of
cultural and mental development of the persons with disabilities.
To
try to meet the basic needs of the persons with disabilities including food,
cloth, shelter, education and treatment.
To
undertake any welfare programs for the purpose of socio-economic
development like supply of seeds,
agriculture and industry based project, women
rehabilitation, public health project, medicine marketing and with the
aim of social & economic infrastructure development.
To
provide training for the landless persons with disabilities on tailoring,
spinning, handicrafts, bamboo-cane and wood working etc. and make practical
things and materials and open the way of extra income sources unconditionally
for landless people with disabilities through transferring chickens, ducks,
kids and cows etc.
To
provide legal aid to recover the moveable & immoveable properties of the
distressed & helpless poor disabled people in the target of establishing
their rights.
To
make arrangement for legal cooperation to ensure for the rights like food, clothing, shelter,
education and treatment and to implement and actualize all over development and
service delivery activity according to
the human rights documents recognized by the United Nation.
To
make arrangement of education and meet basic needs of the address-less disabled
children.
To
make arrangement of establishing night school and rehabilitation program for
the distressed children, adults and disable people for eradication of
illiteracy and life based education on approval of the proper authority.
To
encourage persons with disabilities for leading improved and novel life in
religious sanitization through religion based education and to take step
accordingly.
To
establish and run mobile and permanent hospital in respect of public health
development on approval of the proper authority.
To
establish and run service providing organizations like charitable hospital,
charitable clinic, eye camp, E.N.T camp, primary treatment and blood donation
program on approval of proper authority.
To
form different provident fund, charitable fund, welfare fund in the interest of
the organization
To
achieve different fund mobilization and preservation of resources and
properties thought receiving benefit all types of unconditional financial
assistance, grant, donation, cooperation, benefit, subscription form country /
foreign (Foreign donation, grant, contribution and cooperation under the 1978
voluntary organization regulation ordinance applicable) in the interest of the
organization.
To
take steps in creating workforce and capacity, consultation and training for
socio-economic development of persons
with disabilities.
To
provide service and cooperation for the victims of natural disaster and plague.
To
motivate disabled youth, women and men for their participation in social
development policies.
To
arrange assistive devices production and education materials for persons with
disabilities and to make arrangement publicity, re-publication, production and
distribution of social development devices by which keeps the people to abstain
from social inimical activities and people can work appropriately by getting
correct information.
To
actualize any types of programs / projects for development on the basis of
agreement with persons / institutions / projects.
To
encourage Government including related authorities in order to construct, restructuring and repair Government and
Non-Government institutions, educational institutions religious places, roads,
market, drain, footpath, culvert,
bridge, pavement including all types of public places taking in to
consideration of accessibility as well as proper environment for PWDs.
To
formulate proper law, rules and regulations, different types of policies on an
approval of proper authority in order
to establish equal rights and opportunities of PWDs as well as to encourage
government to adopt proper initiatives to actualize those laws, rules and
policies along with conserving integration and communication with the related
authorities and institutions.
To
purchase movable and immovable property for the activities of the organization
alone with adopting initiatives for taking lease and acquire through permanent
settlement system from the government as well as to actualize all types of
activities for the development and welfare of society in accordance with the
policy, law, rules along with approval of government.
The
Earnings of NFAVH will be utilized to actualize its objectives. It should not
be distributed as profit or bonus among the members.
